Georgian foreign ministry does not recognize "local election" in Crimea and Sevastopol
The Georgian foreign ministry issued a statement condemning the annexation of the Crimea on September 16.

Proceeding from this, it does not recognize the "local election" organized in the Crimea and Sevastopol.

The so-called election was held with gross violation of international law and the legislation of Ukraine, the Georgian foreign ministry’s statement said.

"Georgia once again expresses clear support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within the internationally recognized borders," said the statement.
